A message from Maaqtusiis Community Church, a church plant in Ahousaht, BC:

Grace and peace to you in the name of Jesus Christ,
Thank you for your prayers toward Ahousaht / Port Alberni First Nation. We praise God for His mercy and grace among us.
We kindly ask for your prayers for the upcoming Aboriginal Youth Camp, which will take place from March 27th to 30th in Nanoose Bay.
This camp offers young people an opportunity to experience healing through God's power and love. What started with just three participants grew to 54 last summer!
However, sending around 50 youths would be impossible without the prayers and support of our brothers, sisters, and various churches.
We sincerely seek your assistance and encourage every church and family to contribute enough to sponsor at least one child for $350. With your sponsorship, Indigenous youth will have the opportunity to heal and grow as devoted disciples of the Lord.
