Church Planting
THE NEED
The spiritual needs in British Columbia and Yukon are critical. Canada is the mission field. Our regions’ population is a staggering 5.6 million people Population estimates, quarterly (statcan.gc.ca) and Statistics Canada suggests that religious or spiritual beliefs are on the decline. People do not see their need for Christ.
The discipleship need in our Fellowship Pacific churches is vital. Discipleship is as simple as becoming like Jesus or as intricate as everything we do and are as the Church of Jesus Christ. Church plants provide opportunities to grow as disciples.
To meet these vast spiritual and discipleship needs we must respond by planting new churches.
OUR MISSION
To inspire and facilitate Fellowship Pacific churches to generously plant churches and develop church planters who plant churches until every man, woman, child and ethnicity has the opportunity to respond to the gospel.
OUR VISION
To innovatively develop relationships and resources which facilitate Fellowship Pacific congregations to generously plant healthy churches and develop, train and send church planters.
HOW WE ACCOMPLISH OUR VISION
We strive to accomplish our vision through leveraging the collective strengths of our churches, planters and partnerships. We encourage churches to plant churches. We assist with visioning, recruiting, assessing, training, resourcing, connecting and coaching churches and church planters to launch and establish reproducing churches.
OUR MEASURES AND GOALS.
To develop structures which identify and support church planters and multiplying churches, resulting in at least 20 churches planted by 2027.
